TITAN CREWMATE AIS Display System clearly displays critical information that aids the navigator in his decision-making. TITAN unlocks a wealth of navigational data from an AIS (Automatic Identification System) and effectively sorts through it. When TITAN CREWMATE is connected to a Transponder, Receive Only or a Class B Transponder (such as TITAN SEAMATE), it provides the bridge team with quality and timely situational awareness of the surrounding waters on our specially designed Electronic Chart System (ECS).

TITAN CREWMATE
provides the mariner with a comprehensive visualization of other vessels within proximity of his own ship. It allows the mariner to quickly and easily query other ships to determine their course, speed, heading along with other vital data that will help in decision-making. In addition, TITAN offers a strong ECS providing significant navigational functions never seen before in an inexpensive system.

Your Safety is TITANS’ Primary Function

Existing navigation equipment has provided task specific tools to the navigator. Despite these advancements, until now there has been no way of accurately determining what is around that corner, what is hidden by that island or superstructure or who is that off my port bow?

By connecting your AIS, TITAN CREWMATE begins to receive electronic data from other vessels. Once this information has been received, it is interpreted and displayed in a precise and meaningful manner. TITAN CREWMATE allows mariners to very quickly gather information required and display it in a way that suits the mariner.

Getting More Out of Your AIS

The amount of data that is broadcast over VHF from your AIS is significant.  Until now, most of that information was being wasted. TITAN is the result of many studies of what information is available and what information is critical and useful as an additional tool for the safe navigation of your vessel. This information has been condensed and is in an easy to use, powerful informational tool.

TITAN CREWMATE is completely flexible in screen layout and can be easily modified by each user. Once done, it will remember each users preference and when next time the user signs on it will automatically adjust.

TITAN was specifically developed to display the data being transmitted from an AIS. It is the first system that has embraced the AIS first concept. Utilizing the powerful C-Map ECS, all energy was focused on providing the finest AIS function and display system available in the world today.

By utilizing a familiar Windows environment, the learning curve is significantly reduced. Anyone familiar with Windows will be a proficient user of TITAN.

In addition to what is already being broadcast through static and voyage related data, a unique Man-Overboard feature was added. With a click of an icon, the Man Overboard message is sent automatically with information of the latitude and longitude along with the time, date and ship name.

The importance of knowing at a glance if a vessel is carrying dangerous goods is imperative for safe navigation. With TITAN CREWMATE, each vessel that is carrying dangerous good is easily identified by simply color-coding the existing AIS symbol. Just by glancing at the screen, a mariner can tell who is carrying what type of dangerous goods.

Areas of rugged coastlines where the mariners line of site is restricted and radar doesn’t work properly, TITAN CREWMATE allows the mariner to see all equipped AIS vessels within a large safety zone of up to 60 miles.

By simply clicking a ships icon on the screen, mariners are able to see information regarding that ship such as: ship name, MMSI number, ships course, speed, heading, length and beam, rate of turn, which direction it is really turning, type of cargo, number of people onboard, and other related information important for making decisions.

Perhaps the greatest safety information system to come along in years, TITAN CREWMATE is here to serve your needs now and into the future.
