Western Marine Community
Over a five-year period we studied the effects of AIS on the user community. With this information we determined practical applications for AIS. Letter of Recommendation
Transport Canada
We conducted an AIS study on the automatic identification of vessels carrying dangerous goods. We also studied the monitoring of these vessels while approaching the harbor and their stay in local waters using AIS. Letter of Recommendation
Canadian Coast Guard
We implemented the first base station in North America. We also accomplished a data integration project. Letter of Recommendation
GuangZhou Ministry Of Agriculture
Conducted a study using AIS to monitor barges coming and going to the open sea where they had been illegally dredging for sand. This information would then be provided to the appropriate authorities with a visual tracking and replay function.
Philippine Government & Coastal Surveillance Port System
Xanatos assisted in determining the needs of AIS based port and surveillance system of the Philippines. This project would cover the coastline with TITAN AVIPS to prevent terrorist attacks, smuggling, and collision avoidance as well as provide the ports with modern technology capabilities.
